Growing up in a small town, you tend to know everyone that’s stuck around over the years. Tommy and I went to high school together and his wife, Chelsea, has worked her magic on my hair for years. You can’t ask for two more of the most generous people.
Last fall, while my step-father was in HOSPICE, I called Chelsea to see if there was any way she could cut my step father’s hair. He was rapidly losing his battle with cancer and one of the major things he wanted was to have a nice hair-cut before he passed. Chelsea dropped everything and was there in a matter of minutes. My family and I, and my step father especially, were so thankful for her and her talent. He was such a wonderful man and he was always so well put together. Chelsea helped him on his final journey and allowed him to pass away feeling a little bit more like himself.
That’s the type of people Tommy and Chelsea are. Wonderful.
I remember when Chelsea first told me she was pregnant. I actually guessed it. 😉 I was altering a dress for her brother’s wedding and when she said she wanted to wait until closer to the wedding date to take in the bust/waist, I instantly knew and was so excited for her!
