A Day on the Farm- Storybook Style
Asher Mack loves working on the farm alongside his father. Baling hay, rounding up the cows and playing on the tractors, Asher loves everything about it. To commemorate his second birthday, Asher’s Mom contacted me about putting together a Storybook Session, all about his 3 favorite things.
I had so much fun planning and putting together Asher’s session! The day of his session, he came in the studio all smiles. Playful and courteous, we had a wonderful session and ended it by playing on a tractor outside (which I think was his favorite part!) 😉
Planning the Session
Once we talked about the session and Asher’s favorite aspects of the farm, I set off to try and find just the right toys/figurines to bring his session to life. During my brain-storming, I wanted to incorporate pigs and chickens into the farm, as well as the cows, hay and tractors.
In my mind, I saw the pigs being mischievous, knocking the poor farmer into the mud while he tried to feed them. I also thought the chickens needed to be silly (which now that I think of it, might be a subconscious stereotype- ex: Hei Hei). LOL
I always love seeing the storybook sessions come to life. I hope these will be photos that Asher and his family will cherish for years to come! <3
