There’s a little gem hidden in north Dade City. A place that has captured history and pressed “pause”.
Growing up, every year my elementary school would take a field trip to The Pioneer Florida Museum and Village in Dade City. It was a magical place. As a kid, it was so astonishing to see how people lived “back in the day”. I found all of the old buildings, artifacts and contraptions, completely amazing. As an adult, I pretty much feel exactly like I did as a kid! hehe
When Joanna and David contacted me to photograph their wedding, I was so thrilled. They are such a sweet and caring couple and have wonderful spunky personalities! I immediately liked them.
I was so delighted when Joanna told me they were having the ceremony at the Pioneer Museum. The museum has always held such a special place in my heart, I was excited to be able to photograph a wedding there.
The museum was the perfect match for Joanna and David. They had a rustic-country-style-meets-Mumford-and Sons feel to their wedding so everything tied together beautifully! Everything from the wardrobe and decor down to the miniature pies and 4-piece Bluegrass band.
It’s always a pleasure, an honor really, to capture someone’s special day, a day they will hold in their hearts and remember forever. It was an absolute pleasure to capture Joanna and David’s.
